I read this on the news the other day. On one hand, I guess it's advertising, but on the other, if it can be anywhere on the body (and therefore not necessarily visible) where's the advertising value in that?

I rather like our logo and I have worked here for over 30 years, so at least if I got a tattoo of our logo it would have some meaning to me, but since I am in an industry that's still pretty conservative (banking) I can't see us offering to pay anybody extra to have a tattoo of our logo!

Over time companies tend to modify their logos. What happens then? What happens if the company is bought out? I hope the employees have something in writing to cover them for uncertainties.

Hate to say it, but we actually had something similar happen at our company - not an offer to employees or anything, but a joking conversation between our CEO and a long-term employee ended up with the employee getting a tattoo of the logo and the CEO paying for it out of his own pocket.

Thank you, Tony! I am very excited to have some sort of super hero tattooed to my arm. Of course, since my girls have heard mostly negative remarks from me regarding tattoos I may look a bit like a hypocrite. Would it be possible to still get my discount if I used removable ink?
