Application Privacy Policy

An applicant has asked us for our privacy policy (he will be sending us his transcripts), and said it was not on our application. It is not, so out of curiosity I checked the HRHero free forms and while our application is similar in content to the long form sample application, it also does not contain a privacy policy.
Should we be including a privacy policy on our applications? Do other forum members' applications contain them?

The forms are behind the password on HRHero. In the menu listed on the left, look for HR Compliance Resources. The first listing under that heading is "subscriber login." If you've never logged in, don't have a password, etc. it will walk you through the steps to get one.
If you're an HRLaws subscriber, they are also behind the password. "Forms" is on the nav bar at the top of the page after you've logged in.

Sharon: I am confused. Does HR Hero have application forms that contain a privacy policy?
The one I looked on did not.

As far as I know, none of the application forms on HRHero include a privacy policy. There is, however, some language within the policy on confidential and proprietary information that could be adapted to an employment application.

I would stamp his application "PITA" and move on.
