I've noticed that quite a few of James' posts recently are little more than advertisements for participants to enlist the aid of one of the attorneys who pays the Forum to send them business. It's one thing to give opinion and advice based on HR experience; however, it seems quite another to simply suggest that the poster contact one of the attorneys who pays to have referrals from M. Lee Smith by posting blue-links to the list of attorneys. I have no problem with it, but, let's be sure to accept it for what it is, simply business. x:-)

And if they're going to call a lawyer, you're darn tootin' I'm going to suggest the National Employers Counsel Network. x:D (For those who aren't familiar with it, NECN consists of the law firms in all 50 states that write our Employment Law Letters. [url]http://www.hrhero.com/necn/[/url]).
For the record, I mentioned NECN on the Forum four times in the past three months. Five, counting this message.

What's up, James? Did you visit your doctor like they say in the commercials?
I am not totally sure how I feel about the change. I kind of liked it when you would just appear like the voice of God to render a ruling and then vanish for weeks at a time.
I hesitate to say this but these days... its like your one of us. And that scares me and should scare you.

A yes answer to any one of these questions, will qualify you as a corrupt chap. Good work Forumites. We finally drove James to a twisted state of mind.

Now, is it reasonable to assume that at some point he may cross a line and we will have to actually alert him about his own behavior?
