Forum Format

The format just changed. That would be fine except the print is so small,I can hardly read the posts! I know it's my fault because I need new glasses - almost failed my DMV liscense renewal on the eye exam. Is this format going to stay?

The format has changed and right now I'm typing through something on the left side of my screen that won't go away. The words look OK and are still the same size they were before. Maybe I'm adverse to change but I prefer the prior format. I just previewed my post and the entire left side of my screen is again covered with the side banner. It will take time to iron out the kinks.

Now your response is back to prior size type. But, my message screen is way to the left and any writing in the dark blue area is illegible to me.

Can't seem to get rid of the blue square on the left edge.

Aside from the other little annoyances like not being able to see what you are typing because of that blue side bar thingie, did anybody notice the incredibly stressed-out looking woman at the top of the screen? Or is that just my reflection on my monitor? x;-)

No I didn't until you mentioned it. I feel like the male version of that pix today. Luckily we are closed tomorrow for veteran's day.
Maybe Wednesday will be better.

I still don't know how to add those little faces everyone else uses.

When you click "reply" and the reply window comes up, look just above the reply window. There's a blue underlined thing (partially obscured by the annoying blue side bar) that says "otion icon short cuts". I'm sure it says more but I can't see it behind the blue bar! Just click on that and you'll see all the short cuts to the emoticons.

Oops - I just tried clicking it and it says "error on page". Maybe they are messing with that one too. I'm sure it'll work again in the near future.

We're still working out some of the bugs of the new format. Let us know what you like/don't like.

This annoying problem with posting will be worked out momentarily.

I didn't think we made any changes in the forum type size, but I'll doublecheck.

Now I have to scroll to the right to see the entire screen. When I do that the left banner disappears. Please fix. Thanks.

PLEASE - I'm BEGGING YOU! I keep posting in a lot of spots hoping to get someone's attention - please change the font color back to blue - this brown is awful on the eyes - also, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fix the font size situation. It's normal size sometimes & then morphs to teeny tiny. Please fix these situations - again, pretty, pretty, pretty please.

You know, the threads related to the web redesign remind me of the complaints we get from employees whenever we change something.

WHO came up with this idea?
WHY did you have to change it?
WHY can't we go back to the old way?
WE would have done a better job!

OK I can live with the blue thingie on the left, if only it didn't cut out my words, but the woman and the target symbol have got to go.
I still can't get the icons to work. They will come up but I can't get them to show up on my message. Please HELP!!!!

I do not have alot of extra time for posting to the Forum, but I am being forced to add my opinion to the recent changes in the format...

[b]GET RID OF THE TOP BANNER!![/b] The yellow bar with the target and the frazzled woman are annoying.

All the other "changes" I [u]might[/u] be able to find entertaining, but that [b]banner[/b] makes me want to shoot the messenger.
