Grilled Ham Steaks

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 07-08-05 AT 07:32AM (CST)[/font][br][br]Go to your local food store, drag a whole ham out of the cooler, walk it up to the butcher and ask to have the ham cut into 1-1/2 inch steaks.
Start the grill. While the grill is coming up to heat, simmer together:
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup horseradish
1 cup brown sugar
Throw ham steaks on the grill and baste with simmered mixture.
Serve with Challah bread.

Good luck with it. It's kind of a "can't miss" type of recipe. Enjoy!
You can also try the center cut ham slices (in the pack already). Fry it with some butter, just a few minutes on each side. Add a little more butter, worchestershire (sp), and brown sugar. It's super easy and quick during the weeknights and the kids like it, too.
