OK, how many baseball fans are out there? Give a shout out for you favorite team.
I hope you Red Sox fans are getting nervous, the Yankees are catching up and be knocking you off your pedestal soon.... well, the Rays will probably do that first.

I am not exactly a closet fan though. I have a blue and white monkey from the infamous "I Believe" campaign on my key chain.
Actually, he is right up to a point. However, if you finally get someone on your payroll who really doesn't earn that much (compared to other teams) and is an outstanding player, it really defeats the purpose when you constantly trade them for 2-3 more unknowns and hope they will do as well.
I haven't even been to one game this year; worse, I stopped watching on tv. It is too painful. At least it looks like we might not set any records like last year. You know, record team losses in one year, etc etc. If things don't change soon they will have to change their name to something more appropriate. It is for sure the only one 'Royal' is Glass, and that is just because he acts like he thinks he is Royalty and knows all.
Time is in such short commodity always...wish it could be slowed down sometimes.

It's similar to what we've been experiencing with the KC Chiefs; such a great history but can't even make the playoffs any more.
It's a good thing our 2 universities have decent football and basketball programs; at least we have someone to cheer for!!

Though the Rays are already in first place here in the east, the Yanks still have a ways to go. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not nervous.

Come on, Ray, you know you want to.
After last night I think I might have to do away with my key chain (monkey). Even a 'bad-weather' friend can get too much of a bad thing.
After hearing the final score (19-4) my husband asked if I was talking baseball or football. They are SOOOOOO embarrassing sometimes!
