Skate Stomp

NY Islanders hockey player Chris Simon has been banned 30 games for stomping on an opponent with his skates. First he tripped him up, which in itself drew a penalty, then stomped on the back of his leg. Earlier this year he completed a 25 game ban for uncivil behavior on the ice.

The guy is 35 years old - almost as old as Paul and Q - he should know better. If one of your employees knocked over a coworker and stomped on the back of their leg presumably to inflict bodily harm, would you send them to a "time out", or would you show them the door? Why can't professional sports act more professionally?
