I know I complain about this forum and how outdated the interface is but I will say this, the admin does a good job of keeping spam-bots and hooligans out.

My parents are from Hawaii and as a kid we had spam a lot. My dad would rather have span tham a steak.

My dad used to make eggs Benedict with spam when I was little.

My dad would make brains and eggs when I was a kid. If he couldn't find brains, he would use potted meat as this, according to him, had a similar taste when mixed with the eggs.
Growing up on a small farm during the depression they didn't waste anything. As he put it, "when you killed hogs... you ate everyting but the oink."

Substituting potted meat for brains. Hmmmm....

There's a joke in there somewhere but the right words aren't coming to me. Something like instead of saying someone has "soap for brains" one could say they have "potted meat for brains."
