How do you know actual attorneys are not offering advice when a legal question has been posted?
Darn Patriots. I must admit to doing my best to cheer on the Colts. Looked pretty good for the first three quarters. Alias, three quarters does not a football game make.... Oh well, they may be at it again in the playoffs... GO COLTS...
Some attorneys not in private practice are reluctant to identify themselves as such since many people will be looking for free advice. Can't say that I blame them. Had an interesting experinece some years back when I went to a work comp trial before an ALJ with our attorney. As it turned out the plantiff's attorney could not attend but sent a paralegal from his office. The paralegal did not identify herself as a paralegal but rather put forth a lot of "lawyer talk". It soon became obvious that she was not an attorney and our lawyer as well as the Judge went ballistic on her for allowing them to believe she was an attorney.

Maybe that is already happening. I haven't noticed it. Of course, I spend too much time in the HR De Har Har section.
Oh, and Patriots.
My Seahawks managed to grab defeat from the mouth of victory again.
At least the Ducks won. Go Ducks!

Well what I meant is that attorneys could be contributing regularly, just not including in their contributions "Hi, I'm an attorney!"
So perhaps another aspect of your suggestion is that attorneys who contribute regularly to legal threads sign their posts "esquire"?
>as such. Just my opinion.
Ah. Well your opinion is misguided.
You wouldn't happen to be an attorney, would you?
