Not quite. I live about a quarter mile from the beach.

That particular view is Haystack Rock from the south end of Cannon Beach.

What a beautiful view.

I have a great photo of my 5 year old eating a ginormous plate of steamed broccoli last night. (I needed proof for someone who found it hard to believe my child likes broccoli) I'd post it but I don't know how.

Well as you know Goonies was filmed here.

HRQ, to post a photo, you need to get them on the internet. I think you can do this with several free sites like Ringo, Photobucket, or Flckr.

Then you paste the link to the photo in your post and it magically appears.

At least in theory. If it works, you should be able to see a photo of my daughter Anna holding a bunny.

What a cutie. And she's so gentle with Leo the Lop. My 5 year old likes to shriek our cat's name and chase her into the pantry where she hides until he eventually loses interest.

Thank you for sharing the photos of the most beautiful coastline in America. I recogniezed many of the places from when I lived there. The coast is really as beautiful as the pictures. I am ready to move back. Are you hiring?

Not at the moment but if I ever leave (I have been here 14 years) I'll give you a heads up.

My HR job here is interesting because we provide our staff housing. SO you are not just HR, you are also the landlord.

Yes, very beautiful country. I spent a couple weeks vacation around July 4th back in 1983 wandering along the Organ coast, state of Washington and up to Vancover. I have always wanted to take the family to see this part of the country. I sure hope we can before the boys leave home. Even came home with a "Great Northwet" t-shirt.

They had more than enough judges but my husband got to help out in the judging booth and sample some of the entries. He was in hog heaven.
