I know the show has been around for awhile but I am just discovering it on DVD. Anyone else a fan? Its amazing. I watched the whole 3rd season in a week.

I had the impression it was just a show about some rogue cops. Thats not really the case. I don't know how realistic it is but its definitely well written and engrossing.

I haven't watched it yet. I'm still enjoying Law & Order reruns. I'll have to see when it's on in my area.

I watch it every chance I get. It's a great show! I still can't get over the change in Michael Chiklis from "The Commish" to "The Shield" - it's amazing!

JMCAA - good point. I didn't watch much of the Commish but the characters are really different. I guess thats ACTING!

What I like about the show is how each character has some good qualities and a few not so good qualities. Pretty much like real life there.

My favorite character is Dutch Boy. I always wanted to be a detective.

I have my Netflix set up to send me all of Season four next. Its seriously cramping my sleep habits.
