I can't tell you what point Jackie was trying to get across to his football team (maybe DonD will shed some light) but he made the team watch as a bull became a steer right before their eyes.

The frog sees the horse being shod & wants to be shod too. The horse can handle the weight of the shoes - the frog will be pulled down by them. Moral of the story - don't covet your neighbor's possessions - what's good for one, may not be good for another.

I was thinking more about the shoes being nailed on -- okay for horses but not for frogs (hence my "Ouch" post above). But the moral's the same either way. Reminds of something my mother and grandmother would say: "You have about as much business with (fill in the blank) as a hog has with a sidesaddle." Ergo, a hog with a sidesaddle is like a frog with horseshoes (or me with a giant house).

I think that about covers it, Yahoo.

When you desire what another has, stop and think about whether you actually need it or even would want it should you get it. It might cause more harm than good.

The "weight" aspect didn't occur to me. x:)
