This was in Newsweek today.
"The captive Iraqi tells his family to ‘say hello to everyone’—and his lawyer claims that the former dictator’s human rights are being violated in jail"
Oh, so now human rights are important to Saddam. Where was his concern before his capture? I don't think he should be allowed any comforts or courtesies that he didn't give to his own people.

The family's lawyer is claiming that poor Saddam is being mistreated in prison and his human rights (not being able to write more letters home is one of them) are being violated.
Well, I really doubt that he's being mistreated especially after the recent Iraq prison scandal. Plus the June 30 handover date is around the corner and they want Saddam handed over to Iraqi officials on that date. Prez Bush says that's not likely until it can be proven that they can hold him tightly until and after being tried for his own human rights violations of the Iraqi people.
