OMG! What a beautiful baby! My two girls are 17 and 13 and you forget how little they once were! Last night my oldest daughter and I dug out some home movies of when she was about two years old. We laughed and had such a good time. Paul - be sure to take lots of pictures and videos because they grow up soooooooooo fast! I didn't admit it to my daughter that night but I was a little sad looking back at when she was so young. Where did all of the years go? She reminds me that in the fall of 2004 she will be leaving for college. I'm proud of the young woman she has grown up to be but also a little sad (if I had to admit) that those years are over.

Congrats!! What a beauty. She has Daddy wrapped around her finger already, I've saw that same look when I had my daughter. To this day, all she has to do is bat her eyes and my husband folds like an paper airplane! Enjoy.

Congrats Paul! She is really beautiful and I am sure, worth losing sleep over. We just had our newest grandchild in May. At almost 7 weeks we took him for his first swimming adventure on the day Anna was born. It is amazing how fast they grow and change.

Congrats, Paul, I recently had a friend's 5-yr-old and 2-year-old, run and throw themselves into my arms and squeeeeze me tight. There is truly few such dear precious feelings as the love of a child. Good luck and enjoy the her wonder years (0-10) before she gets into YOUR wonder years, i.e., I wonder what ever possessed me to consider this a good idea (her ages 11-infinity). Welcome to the longest job you'll ever have, the rest of your life!! Have fun!!

Sleep isn't everything. Enjoy her every moment (the teen years aren't all that bad).

The worst part is when they mimic back to you, your exact words and tone of voice - sometimes the image isn't too pretty.

Thank you to everyone who posted such nice comments. I think she is lovely too.

As an update, little Anna has put herself on a schedule and is sleeping through the night. Daddy is her favorite person to have hold her (yea!). She likes to be held pretty much all the time. She is very quiet but those big eyes are so expressive.

Again, I really did not expect such a wonderful response from all of you. I was very touched.

I have decided that babies are God's way of reminding us that there is hope for us all.
