Since ALBAMA doesnt have a specific ruling on coffee/lunch breaks it follows the FLSA which says that employers not required to give ees meal or rest periods. But it does regulate when ees must be paid for these periods.
Any time between 5 and 20 minutes...is to be paid time.
So if you arent going to give them a specified break time then are likely to take several smaller periods of time off..and get paid.
It might benefit your productivity to establish at least a regulated break paid time.
