If a group health policy covers a group of professionals...if an individual leaves is the carrier legally obligated to offer CORBA since it is not an employer/ee situation.
Basically yes, it is a group of professionals that are insured on a group plan with the insurance company. They are working for themselves and can offer their plan to their employees.
You may want to contact your broker for clarification since they would be more familiar with your business operation and the set up of your contract. But, generally speaking, if the size of the operation makes it Cobra eligible and it is a group insurance contract, I would guess yes, Cobra should be offered.
