Performance Measureables - Manufacturing Engineering

Information regarding measureables may have been posted in the past. But if not, does anyone have performance measureables for Manufacturing Engineering Manager. We are a company of approx 60 associates and are trying to get a handle on putting measurebles in place for management team. I'm struggling with Mfg. Engr. Mgr. position.

Any help is always appreciated.

    If you have a job description already built for this position, the measureable are usually pretty easy.

    Manufacturing Engineering Manager hmmmmm.....
    If he needs to put in a new system or systems, process, training of employees, timeliness of performance appraisals, those are all measureables. If he has certain reports that are due monthly, quarterly, or yearly, are those getting accomplished. If he has a certain % rate on completed shipments or projects, then raise the percentage to workable percentage. OSHA accident rate percentages can also be cut. Tell him that he must cut his OSHA accident rate by let's say 25% for year(for example). You must look at the job and find out what needs to be accomplished by that position and then put it into the performance appraisal as key result areas (KRAs). Hope this helps.
