Well it's 60 degrees in KC and I went topless at lunch. Dropped the top on the Mustang Convertible.......and thought of all of you x:D

I live in Avondale, work in Tempe. (Moved offices from Ahwatukee to Tempe last August)

Spent last week in League City, TX (Houston area) on vacation. Wonderful vacation, but can't say I miss the humidity! Drove 20 hours each way with small children in the car and I don't miss that either. x:'(

Poor devil! This morning when I went for my walk, it was 6 below. By the time I got back home, my beard was caked with ice and I had nice rosy cheeks. A hot shower sure felt good. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Not quite as nice here in Middle Tennessee just yet, however, I will perform my first official act of Spring this weekend: Crabgrass preventer on the lawn. It's like my own little ground hog day. No more winter.

I went topless this week twice in different respects. Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. I shaved my head, then went to a barber shop to have it professionally done, correctly. Then today at 7:00 a.m. I shed my shirt, down to the skin, pants too, and put on a surgery gown. Within the hour I had knee surgery and am recovering in my recliner and computer chair. And I'm waiting for Ritaanz and Ray to top these!

whoa Don - hope that was arthroscopic and just a tear repair. Don't be lazy with the re hab. I've had both knees done and I can tell from experience, yu need to work the crap out of them starting real soon if you want them to fully recover. Best of luck!

Wind chill factor here is in single digit numbers even with the sun shining. I have a full head of hair, not even a receding hairline and I'm keeping all my clothes on. Sorry, can't beat you this time, Don. I too am waiting to hear from Ritaanz.

I can't compete with a Mustang convertible, a shaved head, or topless/bottomless knee surgery, but I do have a minimal topless story for this week of early spring. Last weekend I bought a new car and for the first time ever have a moonroof (I guess with the skin cancer hysteria it's no longer medically acceptable to call it a sunroof). So this week we've had a couple of warm sunny days when I was able to drive around with the roof open and the satellite radio blasting. (Not on topic, but I must say the satellite radio is the most fun new toy I've had in a long time.)

Those 60 and 68 degree days sound like a cold snap to me! This should be our third day in a row with over 70 degrees. Daffodils and spider lillies popping up everywhere and my pear and apple trees have sprinkled the whole backyard with bursts of white like a midnight fireworks show. My 86 year old Mom brought over her famous chicken pie Sunday and all that together equalled about a perfect weekend, except for being able to walk.

You guys know the drill! You can't choose where you're born, but you sure can choose where you live.

And.......The Don shaved his head?? What's with that?? Topless, nah, bald, yes! You've joined the ranks of Telly, Yul, and Charlie Chan. Oh, almost forgot, my knees are fine. I guess that's what happens when you pole vault out of bed. Be careful next time.

It's 70 deg outside which is wonderful but it's 80 deg in the office and I'm dying of heat! I may really go topless if they don't get this a/c working properly!
