Paid Holidays/Vacation Time?

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 03-03-04 AT 05:19PM (CST)[/font][br][br]I am intersted to know how many paid hiolidays most of you get. We allow 10 paid holidays a year, along with your birthday and an optional day paid off. Is this pretty normal across the board? How many sick/ personal days do you allow a year? Do we have too many paid holidays to allow for personal or sick days? Need some feedback! Please help!

We have 9 full day holidays and 2 half day holidays. We have 5 personal days per year you can take for any reason. No sick days and vacation is earned a week a year for years of service 1-3, two weeks for 4-9 and three weeks for 10 and over. You don't seem to over the top to me.

Our FT ee's receive 10 days yrs 0-5 (accrued per pay); . 6-10 yrs receive 15 days; 11+ yrs = 20 days. All capped at 2 yrs worth, so they have to start using or no additional accrual. 2 floating holidays (they can choose from a list of 8 different days). 10 sick days each year(pro-rated per month of hire in first year)which can not be accrued. In addition we have 7 paid holidays when our offices are closed.

We're a high tech company based in the NW and receive a total of 11 paid holidays (which includes 2 floating holidays).

we have 10 paid holidays (two of which are floating). We also offer vacation, sick, and personal leave. We did the birthday as a holiday one year when the company was small and what a pain, I would not recommend that idea.
