Weekly or Monthly Appraisal Form

Does anyone out there in HR Forum Land have a weekly or monthly EE appraisal form that you would consider sharing? If so, please email me at [email]cwinebarger@charter.net[/email]. Thank you in advance.

I would sure hate to be the one to tell my supervisors they had to do a monthly let alone weekly appraisal. We do good to get one a year and usually have to beg for that one.

Do you have some reasoning for the benefits of a weekly appraisal? Maybe it is your type of business.

I use a monthly appraisal form for new hires. It can be used for up to 6 months. I'll email it to you.

I also am happy to get supervisors to complete one evaluation per year much less monthly or weekly.

I am curious to know how you plan to use these reviews and would love to hear how it works for you.

Well, maybe I'm mean...they just don't have a choice. Actually, it is only for those EE's who are having problems in certain areas. The appraisal is not as in-depth as the annual eval. Just certain areas are reviewed and basically is similar to a counseling sheet but not to that extent...know what I mean, Vern? Helpful tool for both manager and EE.

More power to you! So, if an EE shows improvement, they would at some point stop having these weekly/monthly evals? I can see some value in that. Sometimes a problem employee comes to your attention, you deal with it for awhile, then some other problem takes the spotlight and the problem ee slips back through the cracks.

Is this something you have done or are considering doing?

I revised our eval process last year so I don't think I could dare try to implement anything new yet...

Exactly. Our new EE's are on probation for 90 days anyway. We have had some doozies as my inactive files will substantiate. Considering. I have one developed, but wanted to compare to what others might have.
