Good Morning All!
I have a question regarding Affirmative Action. Do you have to have a certain number of employees before complying with Affirmative Action? I remember that once upon a time, there was a certain number of employees an employer had to have before having to have a plan. Maybe the age is showing, but who knows? Your thoughts are always a help to me.
Thanks!!!

In addition to the other good feedback that you may receive, I'd suggest you look at several previous discussions about this same topic. In the search function to the bottom left of this screen, type in "affirmative action." The first four links will be to previous discussions. The fifth link is a good overview article. If you run into any snags, let me know. Hope this helps. tk

I took you advice and went to the forum for AA. It did give me what I was looking for. I appreciate your advice.

My understanding is that an employer may choose to have an affirmative action plan, but one is only required if they contract with the government or if they have been mandated to have one by, I think, the EEOC as part of an agreement reached due to infractions involving minorities. We are well over 50 employees and do not have an affirmative action plan.
