Hello I need some help? If any one has examples or forms of conducting criminal backgroud checks. I have applied on line with openonline to process my ssa and criminial background checks. I am almost sure I would need a form to give to my new hires in order to process a criminal background check. Does any know where I can find one?

The company that runs our background checks provides us with the forms. There is lots of legal information contained in ther information. Once we act on the report then we have adverse action forms that I complete, but it all points the applicant back to the company conducting the search.

You are into a highly regulated area, and the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act must be carefully observed. The co you're loking at should supply the forms and the step by step procedure to comply with the FCRA. For yourself, get familiar with the Act so you can recognize a problem if it comes up.

We are use Openonline - check with them. They have all kinds of suggested forms and white papers.
