Screening Forms

LAST EDITED ON 04-24-03 AT 01:34PM (CST)[p]Our agency used to use screening forms for applications that listed basic job requirements and then allowed the screener to circle a rating in those areas as indicated by the application. Applicants with a certain score and above were interviewed. The supervisors for the positions that turn over on a regular basis have stopped using the form. Then I have to send rejection letters to folks, and when I look at the application, I can't figure out why they didn't at least get an interview. I'm afraid we're setting ourselves up for a discrimination lawsuit from someone, and would at least like a paper trail documenting why the applicant was turned down. Thoughts?
