I know that I have read this recently but can't find the post. When interview a person for a job, if they volunter health information can I ask more questions about it? I just overhead one of the HR people speaking with an applicant, the app stated that he left his last job because he broke his foot. My HR person said is it ok now? Was he supposed to do this? We are a manufacturing co and the ap would be required to stand for long periods of time(typically the ee's work for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours between breaks, they get 2 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break).
Please give me advice on this situation.

I agree with Lola about having the job description in front of you. Ours actually includes a full list of ADA factors (physical and environmental demands).
