REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

We (the company) received a request from a terminated employee to produce copies of grievances that had been filed on the employees behalf by the union. After discussion with the executive board, they made it clear to the co. that we should deny his request and tell him to request said copies from the union. Should the company grant this termed employees request or tell him to get his copies from the local. By the way, this employee withdrew from the Union 2 years before being terminated. Does this look like a sweetheart deal??
