Affirmative Action Plans - signed by ee?

Can anyone tell me if they have ever heard that employees need to sign something stating that they have seen, or are aware, of the company' affirmative action plan? I don't think this is true but wanted to see if anyone else had heard this before?

Not that I have heard. Maybe the reference is to the requirement that employees can review the plan upon request?

The only requirement I know of is to post your EEO Policy, Invitation to Vets, and notice of your AAP and where and how it can be seen by employees.

I have been in this business for more years than I care to remember and I have never heard of having employees sign the AAP. We are required to post the plan where it is readily available. We have more than 5,000 employees at 3 locations and I send an individual copy of the plan to each of the officers and to the employee organizations. One copy is available in the library, HR Office, EO Office and in the General Counsel's office. We have had several on-site reviews by OFCCP and have never been questioned concerning the availability of the plan.
