Affirmative Action Training

I am a new Affirmative Action Officer for our company and looking for any available training. I live in Southern Illinois and would like something close, but I am willing to go anywhere for the training. Could someone assist me with where I could begin to find the training for Affirmative Action Officers???? Also I would like any advise on available resources.

Try contacting the American Management Association. They have a great two day session that I sent two people to in order to understand AA and write AAP's. This seminar is given all around the country. It's expensive, but I think worth it.

You might also try the American Association for Affirmative Action. Their website is [url]www.affirmativeaction.org[/url]. The have training programs and a list serve for members. The next annual conference will be in April 2003 in Atlanta.
