Do any members have an Injury Illness Prevention Program in place?
If so, please fill me in. What is it and how do I go about creating one.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure whether you are taking about a safety program, wellness program or work hardening program (help people injured on the job not reinjure themselves). If you will clarify, I'll try to help.

Details on the Injury & Illness Prevention Program can be found in the General Industry Safety Orders (GISO), Title 8, Sec. 3203. You can access the GISO from the DOSH homepage at [url]www.dir.gov/DOSH/dosh1.html[/url]. The IIPP has eight required elements, including sections on employer responsibility, hazard communication, training, discipline, etc. Your Worker's Compensation Insurance carrier should be able to give you guidance on developing a program.
