State Laws

I am an HR Manager for a small company with offices in a number of states. What is the quickest and most effective way to ascertain information on various state emmployment laws when there is a question or problem?

  • Not to be selling you anything, but if you subscribe to your state's newsletter and become a center member, you will have lots of access to information about all the states, by going into the data base.

Otherwise, I don't know a convenient source that gives information for all states in one place.

    Good Luck!

  • Theresa is right. Becoming a Law Center member through HRhero.com gives you a monthly employment law newsletter from attorneys in your state (you can read about Arizona Employment Law Letter at http://www.HRhero.com/azemp.shtml ) plus access to HRhero.com's searchable archive of newsletters from all 50 states.

HRhero.com access also gives you your state's (in your case, Arizona's) laws and regulations. You can add other state's laws and regulations at a discounted rate.

The above mentioned features (newsletter and HRhero.com member's-only access) are only two of about six benefits of Law Center membership. You can find info on all the benefits of Law Center membership at http://www.hrhero.com/benefits.shtml or call 800/274-6774.

Okay, I'll stop before this turns into a full-blown sales pitch! ;)

Don't hesitate to e-mail me at WebEditor@HRhero.com if you have any other questions.

  • We also have sites in 5 states and we just go to their state website. They have information there on laws and reporting requirements
